Will, the "GURU", is not just the founder of BMX-GURU.com. He started repairing and selling bikes when he was in middle school. C&W Cycle officially opened in Morenci Michigan during the summer of 1995. This was summer vacation between the Guru's Junior and Senior year of highschool! The Guru always enjoyed riding bmx, but he was bitten by the racing bug in 1997 when Challenge BMX re-opened which gave him a local track to thrash. In 2000 the Guru opened an ABA track named Morenci BMX and was the Track Operator for 8 successful seasons. In 2003 BMXGURU was born when the eBay store of the same name was opened. This website shortly followed. Today you can still find the Guru turning wrenches at the shop or vending at Michigan NBL events.

In the world of BMX Mail Order, many stores are ran by people that are not BMX. Some are faceless Corporations and on the other extreme, some sell out of their basement. Some are the real deal. Be sure to buy from people who support the sport of BMX.
